Classes, Weapons, Skills, and Talents
Start from the six-class official framework, then inspect snapshot-compatible weapons, skills, talents, gems, and affixes.
Official, platform, and snapshot claims are kept separate below. Unknown current-client details remain unavailable rather than inferred.
Direct answer
Choose a class and its legal weapon families first. Then select skills and talents that remain compatible with the full two-weapon loadout. A preset is a starting record, not a best-build verdict.
Prerequisites
Decide whether the build is for experimentation or a specific run. Know your current level, owned gear, and missing items; all three are local inputs on this site.
Steps
Filter snapshot presets by class and weapon, copy one into a local build, inspect every compatibility conflict, compare candidate equipment, then add only missing canonical items to the plan.
Failure cases
A class switch can leave previously selected equipment, skills, or talents illegal. The editor keeps those choices visible so you can remove them deliberately instead of silently losing data.
Alternatives
Build from scratch, compare up to three same-slot candidates, use Affix Gear for recorded matching items, or use Gem Optimizer only when all required inputs are known.
Tools and sources
Use Presets, Custom Build, Compare, Affix Gear, and Gem Optimizer. The six-class framework is a Steam claim; detailed compatibility and values are from the snapshot.
Claims and sources
- Steam describes six classes, two weapon stances per class, active skills, talent trees, gems, and affixes.
- Specific compatibility, level, and stat fields shown in the tools are imported snapshot records rather than official recommendations.
